In residence chef: Tatsuhiko Togashi

Tatsuhiko Togashi is an artist and self taught chef. He has been enthusiastic about food culture as he was born and raised in traditional rice farmer’s family. Alongside of his artistic practice he co-founded an artist-run gallery/restaurant LAVENDER OPENER CHAIR/TOHMEI in downtown Tokyo in 2020. He is been cooking as the owner chef of TOHMEI while organizing a program for the gallery which shares the same space.
This September, he will be in residence at the Porto Arts Club, presenting his culinary and artistic vision in multiple forms. Stay tuned for more details.
